The length to which they to try to give a positive hue to budget is telling tale of the media controlled by ambani, adani, mahindra, and the like. None of the media questioned the hypocrisy of BJP's pre-electoral promise and pro-middle class rhetoric, versus the pro-rich incentives filled budget.In his chai pae charcha, March 13, modiji said " The life of the common man had become all about paying taxes since his birth to death, listing out numerous taxes levied on using road to house, service, electricity, water besides income tax."Whatever a man earns through his hard work, he can finally keep only a small fraction of it and the rest goes out... There is a dire need to simplify the tax regime, to rationalise it," He added that he would make all effort to provide an incentive of 5 to 10% to all those with monthly salary that honestly pay income tax, that will be funded by black money stashed abroad. Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and Arun Jaitley who were along the BJP candidate supported Modi's view.Now who got the incentive? Ofcourse Tata and Ambani with 25% corporate tax incentive. What happened to the Modi's favorite common honest income tax paying man that is paying taxes from birth till death? Well... The BJP budget gifted the common man the additional burden of paying more service tax othat is increased to 14%. What a truly achche din!While the media's shameless cacophony is out in the open, the common man is busy watching the cricket reckless and careless about how they are played by politics and media. And they truly deserve this! And they will not be ashamed. That sense is reserved for the moments of cricket losses and their favorite hero's divorces.
